Iranian Ambassador Met with Head of Polands Muslim Religious Union

Dr. Eisa Kameeli, the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Warsaw, met with Tomasz Miśkiewicz, the Head of the Muslim Religious Union of Poland (MZR).

During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on the importance of strengthening cultural and religious ties between Iran and Poland, as well as developing interfaith dialogue to promote understanding and peaceful coexistence among various communities.

Mr. Miśkiewicz, who leads the Polish Tatar Muslim community, the oldest Islamic community in the country, provided a report on the Union's activities and the status of the Muslim minority in Poland.

The Iranian Ambassador, while appreciating the role of the Polish Muslim community in preserving their cultural and religious identity and their positive and constructive role within the larger Polish society, affirmed the readiness of the Islamic Republic of Iran to expand interactions and exchanges in cultural, scientific, and social fields. He expressed hope that these interactions would contribute to strengthening bilateral relations and affinities.
