Celebration of the 47th Anniversary of the Victory of the Islamic Revolution in Warsaw
The formal celebration of the 47th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution and the National Day of the Islamic Republic of Iran was held on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at the Regent Hotel in Warsaw. The ceremony, which was attended by Polish officials, foreign ambassadors and diplomats, military attachés, businessmen and economic activists, media, and some resident Iranians, was attended by the Regional Director General of the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs as a special guest. After playing the national anthems of the two countries, the ambassador of our country, in his speech, welcomed and thanked the guests for their presence and then explained the reasons for the Islamic Revolution and the resistance of the great Iranian nation in overcoming the challenges and continuous pressures on its chosen path, as well as the scientific and technological achievements in various fields. He also put the stress on the power of diplomacy and the logic of dialogue based on mutual respect. Referring to the presence of millions of people on February 11, 2026 throughout Islamic Iran, he considered it a sign of the epic power of the people in defending the noble ideals of the Revolution. The ambassador of our country also referred to the forward-looking relations between Iran and Poland throughout the 550 years of mutual historical relations and expressed hope that on the eve of the 100th anniversary of diplomatic relations, the abundant capacities of the two countries can be used more effectively. Then, a clip of our country's scientific achievements was shown, and an exhibition of the magnificent works of Master Farshchian, which was held with 40 works of art in the main hall and the adjacent corridor, was introduced to the audience. Also, a performance of Shahnameh recitation, Naqqali, Daf and Ney playing, and a live singing of "Oh, Iran" song were part of the ceremony, which was warmly welcomed by the guests.
