New Round of Iran-Poland Political Consultations Held in Warsaw
The periodic session of political consultations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Republic of Poland was held in Warsaw on Thursday, November 27, 2025 attended by Dr. Haidari, Assistant Minister and Director General for Mediterranean and Eastern Europe at the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Mr. Kozlowski, Director General for the Middle East and Africa at the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
During this session, the most important bilateral issues, implemented measures, and future bilateral programs were discussed and reviewed. Both parties stressed the necessity of continuing dialogue and utilizing the existing capacities and opportunities to strengthen mutual relations.
The Assistant Minister and Director General for Mediterranean and Eastern Europe at the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs highlighted the long history of political ties between the two countries, emphasizing the Islamic Republic of Iran's determination to continue cooperation and take further steps toward developing relations with Poland.
Dr. Haidari described the Islamic Republic of Iran and Poland as two important and influential countries located in two sensitive regions of the world, whose developments are highly dynamic, stressing that this reality doubles the necessity for interaction and communication between the two nations.
Furthermore, discussions and exchanges of views took place on the most important regional and international issues, including the Palestinian issue, the ongoing crimes and human tragedy in Gaza, and the war in Ukraine.
