The feature film, "The Summer That Snowed" (directed by Nasim Farough), won the prestigious "Golden Copernicus" award for the Best Full-Length Feature Film at the 15th EDUKINO International Film Festival in Warsaw, Poland.

The award ceremony for the festival, which focuses on empowering and inspiring cinema, was held in Poland on October 17, 2025. Due to the filmmaking team's inability to attend, the award was received on behalf of the crew by Meysam Rahmani, the Cultural Expert of the Iranian Embassy in Poland. He conveyed the congratulatory and thank you message from the Iranian director and artists to those present, while expressing his own gratitude and appreciation to the jury.

The honorary award, known as the Golden Copernicus, was presented to "The Summer That Snowed" for its effective engagement with the themes of "struggling with fate, pain, fear, and loneliness" and its emphasis on the power of human resilience. The film was selected as the Best Full-Length Feature Film in the specialized section of "Building Resilience and Mental Health," one of the four main focuses of the EDUKINO Festival.

The EDUKINO International Film Festival is a well-regarded cinematic event in Poland whose main mission is to support works that bring empowering, educational, and inspiring messages to young people worldwide.

"The Summer That Snowed," produced by Maryam Bahrololoomi and starring Reza Akhlaghirad and Noushin Massoudian, has previously participated and won honors at other festivals, including the Marbella International Film Festival in Spain and the International Police Award Arts Festival in Italy.
